EU-SWITCH-Asia Greening Hotels Awards 2013

Amabalama Leisure Lounge received a certificate from the EU SWITCH ASIA Greening Sri Lanka Hotels project under the category of SME Hotels (with 50 rooms or less) for its environmentally friendly practices and promotion of eco-tourism in Sri Lanka. The merit was specifically related to our efficient processes of water & energy conservation and waste management, as we try our best to ensure that our operations have a minimal impact on our beautiful and captivating surroundings.

The Asia SWITCH- Greening Sri Lanka Hotels project, an initiative sponsored by the European Union and implemented by the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, staged its annual independent awards ceremony, the EU-SWITCH-Asia Greening Hotels Awards 2013, at the Jaic Hilton on the 14th October 2013. The awards are offered to service providers at all levels, from small and medium enterprises to large scale operators.
